About Us
Nestled in the heart of Sunderland, Argyle House School extends a warm invitation to nursery aged children in our dedicated nursery, Little Crickets, promising a foundation (built on a family ethos and values) that prioritises holistic development and individual growth. Open 50 weeks of the year, we pride ourselves on cultivating an early love of education, fostering creativity, resilience and respect. By joining our community, young minds will be enveloped in an atmosphere that not only focusses on academic excellence but also instils values that will guide them through life's many adventures.
At Little Crickets we warmly welcome children from as young as 2 years 9 months, offering a consistent educational journey until they transition into Reception. The unique allure of Argyle House stems from its nature as an all-through school that serves children up to the age of 16. Here, continuity meets excellence, ensuring every phase of your child's academic development is in harmony with our esteemed ethos and unwavering dedication to their growth.
Our primary mission is to foster a nurturing environment where each child is empowered to reach their fullest potential. Our commitment to excellence, combined with a curriculum that is both challenging and enriching, promotes critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Here, we don't just educate; we shape the leaders, thinkers and innovators of tomorrow.
Argyle House School is owned by Forfar Education, which owns and manages a network of outstanding educational establishments across the UK, with a leadership team that brings more than 80 years of experience within the education sector.
