Welly Walk

Yesterday our Reception class along with Little Crickets Sunderland went on a sponsored Welly Walk around Barnes Park.  

The children made bracelets from things they found in the park like leaves, twigs and acorn shells. 

They had great fun searching for animals and found ducks and squirrels.  

Of course a walk wouldn’t be complete without a snack, so the children rested their legs and enjoyed some biscuits and a drink near the band stand before continuing to find the cannon in the park.  

The children had a wonderful time getting out into nature and exploring with mams, dads, nanas and grandads!
